MISSION STATEMENT
Through professionalism, dedication, duty, pride and tradition the members of the East Joliet Fire Protection District work to safeguard the lives, property and enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors of the district. This is accomplished by implementing comprehensive training and strategies in fire prevention, fire suppression, EMS, emergency preparedness and community based fire services.

On behalf of the East Joliet Fire Protection District, thank you for taking time from your day to view our web page. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
It is our goal to provide highly trained Firefighters, Paramedics and EMTs to residents and users in any time of need. We will continue to provide well prepared emergency service providers, through the commitment of our career, part-time and paid on call Firefighters.
It is through these dedicated men and women we continue to provide the residents of unincorporated Joliet Township a safer place to live, work and raise families.

East Joliet Announces Promotions
The East Joliet Fire Protection District Board of Trustees, along with the East Joliet Board of Fire Commissioners, would like to announce the promotions of Lieutenant Matt Grohar to the position of Deputy Fire Chief and Firefighter/Paramedic Scott Matthews to the position of Lieutenant effective December 1, 2020. Tom Ksiazak was hired as a full time personnel November 2, 2020 to fill the open full time position created by the promotions. Please join us is congratulating Matt and Scott on their promotions.

Illinois Firefighter Basic Certificate
Illinois Paramedic License
If hired, must obtain a Illinois Class B non CDL Driver’s License
